Apple is likely to raise the prices of all four models of the iPhone 15 series, according to Bloomberg. Pro models may be equipped with a titanium frame.
In an exclusive report, Bloomberg news agency says that Apple is looking to make significant changes to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, and at the same time, it is also making changes to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. One of Bloomberg’s essential claims is the increase in the price of the iPhone 15.
According to Bloomberg, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max phones will have a titanium frame, while the current iPhones have a stainless steel frame. The use of titanium makes the device more resistant and reduces its weight.
Using new technology, Apple plans to reduce the screen margin of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max by almost a third. Also, as mentioned earlier, the mute slider will be replaced with an action button. The user will be able to customize this button.
According to Bloomberg, the new iPhones will have a USB-C port to end the era of the Lightning port after years. The addition of USB-C to the iPhone is the result of EU legislation.
Apple has decided to increase the prices of all four iPhone 15 models in markets outside the United States. We may also see price increases in the US market. Last week, a leaker said the price might increase to a maximum of $200.
Bloomberg has also mentioned two other significant changes: iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be equipped with Dynamic Island (capsule hole) like the Pro and Pro Max models.
Apple’s new generation of iPhones will probably be released in late September.
